At Cheshire Nannies, we take the time to get to know you, so that we fully understand your childcare needs.
This enables us to find the best possible nanny to fit into your family.

We only sign the best candidates with recognised childcare qualifications, and/or an excellent career history in the childcare industry.
Before they apply for any role, I personally interview each candidate and ensure they have the necessary credentials which include:

a DBS on the update service,

a paediatric first aid certificate within the last 3 years,

I check the candidates employment references from their last 3 positions.

I check the candidates ID including their passport and I see 2 utility bills to verify their address.
Before a Nanny commences a position, their driving licence will be checked, and I ensure business use is included on their car insurance.

I started my childcare career in 1999 after completing a BTEC National Diploma in Childhood studies, and later gaining a HNC in early years. I worked within the day nursery sector to gain experience with children of a variety of ages working my way up to a unit manager. Knowing Nannying was my passion, I then joined a lovely family in 2002 and this is where my Nannying career began. I continued Nannying until I had my first daughter in 2012, then my second daughter in 2014, and have continued to work within the childcare industry.
From my own Nanny experience, and having my own 2 children, I know how important excellent childcare is.
In 2020, Cheshire Nannies was born. This has enabled me to continue my passion of providing families with excellent homebased childcare by sourcing the best calibre of Nannies, who equally love their career as much as I do.
